A Disturbing New Trend
I love when I come across some cats in Boston really trying to do their thing and push this city out onto the map. Check out these guys in a new band called A Disturbing New Trend. You can catch them in their new Year of the Carnivore video. They definitely have a fresh new sound. Also don’t forget to stop by their website so you can read up on these guys.
Audible Mainframe

Audible Mainframe – “Traffic” feat. Jade Ross
Audible Mainframe | MySpace Music Videos

Check out Audible Mainframes beats when you have a second, I think you might enjoy them. There sound is fresh and unique. These guys started out just like you and I hustling around in the streets of Boston and now they are out in LA doing there music thing and swelling with success. They kind of sound like the Roots with their own flavor and spin. Let me tell you there ish is really contagious. That jam with Jade Ross above is nasty and listen to the Mass Ave reference in the song. Keep an eye out for some BKH gear hopping around on these dudes in the very near future as well. Get to the iTunes store and buy the Audible Mainframe album so they can eat!!
My Boston – Big Shug feat. Singapore Kane & Termanology
I ran into this video today and if you live in Boston and have Boston pride and enjoy hip hop check it out. I think Boston needs sometime in the limelight. I mean sure we have Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch but we never really made it onto the hip hop scene like other areas of the US. Sooner or later I think we will make it there. Music was produced by DJ Premier and video was directed by Peter Dudgeon.
Love the Boston pride.
