I am kind of sad that summer is starting to wind down now. I t really feels like things just go started. I had lots of cookouts this summer and I have come up with a full proof plan to making them work. I have compiled some of the most important ingredients you will need to have a successful bbq with friends and family. This is not the only way, but it is my way and it works for me.

Corn

No cook out or BBQ is good to go without some corn cobs. Shucked or unshucked it doesn’t matter. Just get some corn, its cheap throw it on the grill or boil it. By the way grilled corn is amazing. Put some tin foil down on the top rack put some olive oil on the car and throw it on there.

Onions

You will need an onion for something, you always need an onion for something.

Peppers

Peppers will also come in handy, most likely for the sausages you plan on grilling.

Potato Salad

No cookout is complete with potato salad. This is a must. No exceptions.

Meats

I don’t think I need to tell you why this is important do I?

Spices

If you buy good meat you won’t need too much of this but it doesn’t hurt to have handy near by.

Grilled Shrimp

If you have never thrown shrimp on the grill you are missing out. These little guys taste amazing on the grill.

Beer

How could I forget, beer! If chosen correctly nutritious and full of anti oxidants.

Wine

Many countries drink this for breakfast so it is only natural to include it in a BBQ guide.

Soda

For all the non drinkers you will also need plenty of other refreshments, like soda! I’m addicted to soda.

Sweet Endings

If you have a sweet tooth like mine you will most likely need something like this to end the cook out off strong.

Family & Friends

And last but not least you will need to be accompanied by family and friends to enjoy all the festivities.
