Here is the second post for all you social media marketing fans. This is the Boston Knucklehead Twitter profile page. Come follow us so you can see just how much I hate walking my dog in the city at 530 AM and how much sugar I just put in my coffee.
I took this picture just before it started snowing right near government center. So what do you think these guys are doing? going over a treasure map? the secret to why the big dig was so over budget? a cure for Boston traffic? We will just never really know. Until then we can just guess.
Let us know what you think they are having a meeting about.
We have many different social website profiles so we are going to start introducing these to you slowly. Each week we will post a link to one of our profiles so you can come join us. Today’s link is a link to our Facebook Group Page. Come and join the group and help us by participating in discussions with us.
I love getting together with family and eating but i’m glad things are quiet now so I can shed this unwanted holiday weight. My family really puts a new meaning on eating when it comes to the holidays. It’s a solid month of just pigging out and enjoying anything and everything.
Lets take a look at some of our Christmas traditions:
Beat Soup:
For all of you who have never had beat soup it is the most amazing thing. Aside from its fun color the taste will leave you wanting more. I have had many friends over for our Christmas dinners and they first look at the soup they are very skeptical. Now they haunt my mom for the recipe.
Homemade Cheesecake:
This is no surprise but homemade cheesecake just tastes much better than store bought. Actually home made anything is better than store bought. Especially during the holidays.
Cornish Hens:
For all the vegetarians who might read this I am truly sorry but these little muffins are so tasty. I am an animal lover so I am very sorry but they make a great meal. This is a new tradition that has started at my family’s house for the holidays and it is great. Did I mention the entire meal is cooked by person! You can all guess who that might be.
I remember in the 90’s at some point I used to skate the fountain at Copley as much as possible. You couldn’t go down there with out bumping into some Boston legends like Robbie Gangemi and Charlie Wilkins. Those days were amazing. We would skate all friggin day, get chased by a few cops and then be back after we circled the block on our boards. Some of the best days of my life. I found this video someone put together that is pretty nasty.
So 2009 was a wacky year. Lots of crazy strange things happening leaving many scratching their heads. I think 2009 will be a much better year but who ever really know. Lets all cross our fingers and pray for the best. 2008 was fun, Boston Knucklehead Clothing started as a funny tee idea to a growing company and we here are very excited to see exactly where this company goes. It will definitely be a unique Boston inspired brand. I grew up riding a skateboard and bmx’ing and others at BKH where sports nuts and together we are going to spawn a very interesting new brand. But that is what it is going to take in 2009, be unique, fun and bring something that isn’t being done to the table in order to grow.
Not listening to haters and people telling you something is stupid but following your heart and just doing something you are passionate for. For 2009 we have new tee designs dropping that are really going to hit home with proud Bostonians, you will just have to wait and see what we come up with. We are young and growing but we are hungry and patient and now that no reward comes without skinning your knuckles a bit and that is what we are prepared to do. Keep your eyes open for fun new things coming from our neck of the woods. We love branding so you will see some great free knick-knacks in your orders that should surprise you. We are all very busy so please be patient and go tell your friends to come to the website and check us out.
For all of those who message us on Myspace and Facebook we thank you for your support and please stay tunes as we launch more and more goodies.
I have never witnessed break dancing on the T before but this is pretty slick that these guys are rocking it out right in the middle of people going to work and traveling and just doing what they do. Whats even cooler is the support they get from people right on the T. Way to go Boston, put your hands together for someone doing something out of their element.
Since these G-Shocks came out I have loved the styling and coloring of them but like anything else I give them another year or so and the fad will most likely pass, how ever a dope watch will always be a dope watch. This new LRG 10th anniversary G-Shock is a pretty slick watch.
Boston Knucklehead Clothing is still a young and unique clothing line. This line really just started about 6 months ago but it has started picking up steam. We are trying to target many different demographics in the city. This sweatshirt was designed for the Boston Bruins fans of Boston. Boston Knucklehead taps into Boston culture on many different levels and this sweatshirt taps into the sports community. That doesn’t mean that anybody can wear but the traditional gold and black coloring was catered to appeal with Boston hockey fans.
Keep checking back as we have some really cool designs that should be dropping in first half of 2009.
A long time ago I built a coffee table for my apartment and I made a funny observation, everyone that saw it wanted to talk about it. So I threw the table on Ebay and low and behold it sold for some decent coin. So I decided to make a few more different styled tables. I still make these unique coffee tables here and there when I have the time but lately I just don’t have the time. They are urban contemporary styled coffee tables that sit on industrial casters about one foot tall. I can make them with any colored wheels and designs. Here are a couple that I have made. I still have the street wear shark table and the DiNero Tax Driver table sitting around in storage unused. I don’t make any movie themed tables anymore just strictly my own designs. These tables are great whether you need one for your store, work or home.
Streetwear Shark Coffee Table
This table is really fly, if I had room in my place I would use this but I just don’t. I still have it, never used it so if anyone is interested just email at info@dancingknives.com or visit the Dancing Knives website and send me a message right through the site.
Robert DiNero Taxi Driver Coffee Table
This one is stealth looking with the all black wheels. I have this one as well unused so hit me up.
Graffiti Bomb Coffee Table
This one I have in my place now and it strikes a lot of conversation, not joking. This is not for sale but I can easily make something similar again. Just let me know what colors you like and I will do the rest.
Al Pacino Scarface Coffee Table
This is the table that started it all. This table got so many people asking when they came over it was silly. Everything from the UPS guy to the maintenance guy to my buddies. But like I said for legal reasons I do not make these anymore.
