Downtown Crossing Construction

So I have been going through a bunch of photos from right before it really started snowing. We had about a month where we just had a bunch of family in town visiting and we did a lot of walking around the city and found some great things to take pics of. This building in downtown crossing below was a historical building and it looks like it was gutted leaving the two outside walls standing. Pretty nutty engineering.

And this below is on the other side. Pretty crazy how these developers and construction contractors do this sort of work.
